Alpha Center

The Alpha Center is a Christian crises pregnancy center that offers hope and assistance to girls with unwanted and difficult pregnancies. Ultrasound examinations and STD testing are available at no cost. The Alpha Center also has a program called PACE, Post Abortion Counseling and Education. PACE helps those who are struggling with an abortion decision made in the past. New groups will begin in January and February 2012. Freedom Fellowship

As inmate Chaplain at Larimer County Detention Center (LCDC), Larry Louis spends many hours each week doing one-on-one counseling, including suicide intervention at the request of guards or counseling staff. He conducts inmate baptisms and oversees programs including initiating special Christian events such concerts and guest speakers. He serves as inmate liaison to the administration the counseling department, religious volunteers, and the Ministers Board.

Donna Roth, the president of Freedom Fellowship, served on the Colorado State Department of Corrections Volunteer Advisory Board and Community Resource Council, the Executive Board of Justice Ministries Network and is a member of the Larimer County Offenders Employment Council. In 1995, she was voted Fort Collins volunteer of the year.

As President of Freedom Fellowship (which Donna Roth founded in 1989), Donna has overseen all volunteer activities including jail services, prison seminars, and support groups, attends inmate court sessions for prayer and support, and at times is asked to officiate at inmate and ex-inmate weddings and funerals.

There are several volunteers presently working through Freedom Fellowship to provide the many services required for this ministry.
